Reversing Pre-Alzheimer’s Disease and Cognitive Decline: an interview with Seth Conger
Margaret Floyd-Barry from Eat Naked Kitchen interviews MIOS Health CEO Seth Conger about the MIOS Health mission and steps you can take today to reduce your risk of Alzheimer's Disease.
From the Eat Naked Kitchen blog:
I can still remember how alarming it was when my Grandfather, such a wise and thoughtful man, suffered from a very quick onset of Alzheimer’s. I was young – 7, maybe 8 years old? – but I still remember how disconcerting it was to ‘lose’ him. He was right there in front of me, but it wasn’t him anymore.
In some ways, he was one of the lucky ones. His struggle didn’t last long – a year or two at most – and then he passed.
It’s a rare person who hasn’t been personally affected by cognitive decline, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Most of us have already experienced someone close to use struggle with these issues, and if we haven’t yet, it’s only a matter of time.
What’s most alarming about this disease is not only the feeling of inevitability around it – but also the fact that there seem to be no solutions that work.
Today, I’m sharing an interview I did with a very dear friend and colleague, Seth Conger, founder of Mios Health. Seth and his team are pioneering a new model for reversing (yes, reversing) cognitive decline and in so doing, are achieving what has previously been thought to be the undoable.
This video is a must-watch for anyone who knows anyone struggling with cognitive decline at whatever stage.
